A 50-year-old Ridgewood woman in a 2021 Jeep Wrangler ran a stop sign on John Street and was struck by a 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by a 59-year-old Fair Lawn man on Morlot Avenue shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday, Police Sgt. Sean Macys said.

The Highlander got the worst of the collision. The Wrangler tapped the side of the home and came to rest.

Members of the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps tended to both drivers, who each refused hospitalization, Macys said.

Fair Lawn police and Heavy Rescue members also responded.
